The other weekend I took some pictures of my friend Anna* and her family. We met over on NC State’s campus at the Bell Tower and the Court of Carolinas. It was a perfect fall day to take some pictures. Anna and I met our freshman year at NC State in this awful literature class we took spring semester. One day we ended up walking back to the same residence hall and found out we both lived in Sullivan. And as cheesy as it sounds ‘we’ve been friends ever since’
.
I have to say this was one of my favorite photo shoots. Anna and her husband have a sweet girl who has a big personality. It was so much fun to capture moments of all three of them just being themselves. Their little girl Willa* was very energetic and did not need any coaxing to pose for some pictures, which made my job so easy!
We started out with some shots at the Bell Tower steps. Anna and her husband both went to NC State and met in an organization they were both involved with in college. This part of east campus makes for a great area to take photos.
Near the Bell Tower is near Holiday Hall where the Chancellor’s office is. There is a beautiful portico where we snapped some more shots.
They are teaching Willa to bleed NC State Red. She is a wolfpacker in the making! The area in front of Holiday Hall is also one of the best places to capture the Bell Tower in the background.
Willa enjoyed walking around on the brick walls in the Court of the Carolinas on Campus with her cute moccasins.
We took some one more family photo towards the end. It’s such a perfect image of this family. To see some more pictures from this shoot, visit the gallery here.
